Causes of Hemorrhoids

What are the causes of hemorrhoids? Many people believe that they arise as a result of straining when going to the toilet and that this causes the veins to bleed and these enlarged veins are the causes of hemorrhoids.
This straining can arise during our bowel movements and also occurs in pregant women.

Many people who have studied this area closely are convinced that the causes of our hemorrhoids are in fact our bodies response to foods that are alien to our body in the quantities that we currently consume.

Our bodies are not designed to process the amount of processed foods and sugars that have become the norm in our daily diet in the Western world. For centuries our bodies were accustomed to consuming fruit, vegetables, nuts, fish, rice and other whole unprocessed foods.

Our stools are a byproduct of this unnatural high intake of heavily processed foods and we then experience constipation and straining which in turn causes our hemorrhoids. The regulation and performance of our bowel movements is also a factor in the onset of hemorrhoids.

So a solution to your problem should firstly look at your diet and an inclusion of more fruit, vegetables and a slow eradication of refined sugars from your diet. Your diet is the major source of a solution to your problem and a kinder treatment of your body with what you put into it.
